ATTENDING A MEETING WITH JOHN DE RUITER ... What Meetings with John de Ruiter offer is not a theoretical discussion about Truth; there is neither abstract intellectual discussion, nor is there a probability or deduction-based theory explored with the use of logic to support it. What is conveyed in Meetings is the living way of Truth - through spoken words and through that which is not limited by words - as an entire body of principles of being, knowledge and conduct. This living way of Truth can be profoundly and immediately known by everyone, not merely followed, contemplated, deduced or wishfully applied as a technique toward achieving a self-defined goal. Reference may be made to "the living way of Truth" and its relationship to philosophy, religion and psychology as their "true essence." Reference may be made to "uncompromising, profound honesty" as the foundation from which illusion is replaced with "an original, authenticity of being." And, reference may be made to the accessibility and effortlessness of profoundly knowing this living way. What is always conveyed by John de Ruiter is a profound way of being resulting from his own, innermost surrender and servitude to Truth. Have you ever remained deeply at rest within . . . allowing yourself in the simplest and loveliest way to just be gentled and stilled... enjoying the natural, benevolent manner that is already within you? Have you ever listened from that manner, contemplated from such an orientation, or stepped forward from within such a way of being? Do you know your true nature? John de Ruiter addresses living always and without fail from an inner way of being that is profoundly congruent with Truth, our own naturally authentic underpinnings that remain gentled and real. John de Ruiter conducts Meetings from "core-splitting honesty" and the oneness that began as "unconditional, innermost surrender and servitude to Truth." This is most profound practical philosophy, addressing by example of being and through audience initiated discourse, the true nature and purpose of Reality and the way it can be both realized and lived. Contemplative, poignant silences take place within this. Rational discussions of Truth and the related principles of being, knowledge and conduct arise in an unscripted, variable array - sometimes conceptual and expansive, sometimes laying bare the minutiae of Reality or its distortion. The intellect and contemplation play an integral role, but it is the living foundation of profound Reality conveyed through the vehicles of the intellect and logic that informs them, not the other way around. This is the way of being from which John de Ruiter speaks, and is the subject of his teaching. Within such a way of being that continually integrates what it recognizes, John de Ruiter shares his presence and beautifully addresses the depths to the shallow within authenticity of being. John de Ruiters message affirms: "Reality, when responsibly and honestly addressed from a way of being congruent with Truth, forms the inner foundation from which the pure and profound nature of all of Reality becomes truly known, to greater and greater depths, and on all levels. Consciousness within (including mind, emotion, body, intuition and will, among others), and consciousness without (including nature, society, the universe, and so on); all are included within this emerging inner foundation, and each finds its particular place within a known 'hierarchy of value.'" THIS IS PURE, LIVING ONENESS, truly known and realized; not an exalted structure crafted by belief and merely contemplated or deduced. The parts comprising the true whole are each identified, just as the wholeness within each true part of consciousness is unveiled and realized. The profound and limitless result of abiding in such an orientation is comprehensive integration of consciousness in form. This teaching, this philosophy of life or way of being that is profoundly true, reveals the inseparability of all facets of human existence. This is the laying aside of the illusory dichotomy of "exalted" and "mundane" that has occupied humans, and is a profound embracing of the inviolable living way that truly nourishes human beings. "If you are not living being continuously aware of the largeness of your potential, then you are living being asleep to what you are." Any claim concerning John de Ruiters way of being and his understanding of the living way of Truth is not to be believed; rather, its authenticity can be profoundly recognized and known. True recognition of John de Ruiter (and realization of everything in life) can take place directly, as a being, from a whole and honest, inner way of genuine openness and inquiry; or indirectly, through rational and comprehensive, objective investigation again, from the wholeness of a way of being that is true. There is no wish to convince anyone of the Truth of John de Ruiters way of being and words. "Wholeness of orientation creates a true way of true being that can profoundly see, profoundly recognize and truly know." Such true recognition and knowing produces authentic, irrefutable and pure, living knowledge. A known foundation of such living, original knowledge has no need for the support of inanimate structure such as dogma, ritual, practice or unfounded belief. Belief without the living foundation of indisputable, real knowledge - even where what is believed is objectively true - is without living substance in the individual. An abstract, conceptual basis such as unsubstantiated belief cannot sustain the real and immediate, living integration of life in all its dimensions. Expansion of a living structure of Profound Reality cannot occur from a basis that is not of the same. What is merely perceived and then adopted as true is only a lifeless imitation, limited to its own self-imposed perimeter. Such an artificial and maintained constriction is the privation of Reality, and cannot become a basis for the living, natural expansion of pure Reality. Only what is profoundly known and profoundly realized is Reality: the living and expanding absolute Truth. Those earnestly seeking deeper understanding from a way of being that is true within themselves cannot help but discover this for themselves. The pragmatic basis of John de Ruiter's teachings is the knowable fact that Truth is not an abstract or "spiritual" subject to be separated from the "mundane." Any such distinction is an artificial one serving, at best, to keep individuals on a path toward something, instead of nurturing an immediately real and profound way of being that is always accessible. The pure living way of Truth as presented through John de Ruiter's way of being and through his spoken words, applies to all aspects of human life. The transcendental yet immediate living way of Truth is the only living foundation of authentic existence, and is the only legitimate beginning of recognizing human awareness and its capacity as pure consciousness. "Before there is ever a rightness of action there is, at first, a rightness of being." Attending a Meeting with John de Ruiter or participating in any activity from the place or the way within that you profoundly know - a way of gentledness and inner rest - will always yield a deepening of what you actually do know as a being. The limitless result is a refining of what you are as a being, as consciousness, as Reality... The limitless result is a refining of what you are as a being, as consciousness, as Reality... But without a foundational way of being that is pure, the mind, emotions, will, intuition and body, and all associated choices are more or less used to get something for a self-created self. Without a way of being that is true, most everything is taken to enrich or increase a self-serving self; a self that identifies first with person-oriented want and need, instead of identifying with the inner rest of true being that precedes want and need of every kind, self-serving or real. Only a being-oriented self has the capacity to deal rightly with want and need in whatever form, both inward arising and outward. A true way of being gives itself within to all it encounters from its natural, benevolent way of gentledness and restedness. That brings about increased expansion and expression of a true way of being. And that is a maturing and deepening of the being itself. The perpetual choice available to all humans in every moment remains: to uphold personal orientation and to insist on feeding a self-serving perspective that is confined to self-defined personal goals, or to make way for the truly nurturing, benevolent manner of being that already resides within and for Reality. That is the true manner of being that gives birth to a real self, because it is one with the Absolute - both its authentic source and only true purpose. If a way of being that is true is growing, then a real self is emerging and expanding. If a self-serving, distorted reality is growing, then only an unreal self continues to develop within an equally illusory reality. Everyone has the choice in every moment to give themselves to the One, or manufacture another. If the choice is Reality, it all begins with being rightly, being within what you actually know; "a gentled and quieted way of being within" in the midst of life, all of the time. Within that, your knowing realization of whatever you are experiencing - on all levels, including the mental, emotional, intuitive, volitional and physical - just naturally deepens. You will profoundly exist as the immediate and ongoing evolution of functional, integrated consciousness. That is not a path toward an abstract view or perception of Reality. That is a known, immediate entrance into and being of cohesive Reality. "It isnt enough to know the Profound; it isnt enough to relate to the Profound or even rest in the Profound; it isnt enough to return to the Profound. If you are not using your intelligence to give it form - to be the Profound - then there is only a human. There is just a person. The human being has not yet emerged, and neither has profound mind, feeling nor form." "You be all that you are - comprehensive and profound presence as a being - in all that you have." "From within your life, leap out of any stupor; cherish intelligently addressing the living Profound in you." "It all begins with profound honesty. Only such wholeness of orientation can reveal pure beingness, and allow recognition of our authentic, true nature which reflects its Absolute source. This real seeing is the profound discovery that awareness is only the beginning of our capacity as consciousness. That is only the beginning of integrating consciousness within and without, from and for profound Reality, to which there is no end... " That is an enlightening realization that only becomes brighter as real life is lived... And that is the place and the way from which all questions are truly answered ...they are known. ~~ |
